Two charged after police find loaded gun in car
[attach]6209[/attach]Two people are facing numerous firearm-related charges after police found a loaded gun in their car during a traffic stop.
In a news release, police said they pulled a car over near Eglinton Avenue E. and Sloane Avenue earlier today.
While investigating, police seized a loaded .40 calibre Ruger handgun.
A 39-year-old man and 36-year-old woman were arrested, and have been charged with:
– careless storage of a firearm
– unauthorized possession of a firearm
– possession of a restricted weapon obtained by the commission of an offence
– possess of a firearm knowing the serial number has been altered, defaced or removed
– careless storage of ammunition
– unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle
Charged are Michael Grey and Julie Denny.
They are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow (July 25).
